Job Description:

Titan is looking for a skilled Data Protection Engineer to strengthen its data security and privacy posture. The role focuses on implementing data protection controls, managing DLP technologies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and responding to data security incidents across enterprise systems.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain data protection policies and procedures aligned with ISMS controls
• Manage data classification, discovery, retention, archival, and destruction processes
• Implement and support DLP / MIP solutions (Microsoft Purview, Forcepoint, Symantec/Broadcom)
• Monitor data access, usage, and DLP alerts; investigate and respond to incidents
• Perform security audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability assessments
• Support incident lifecycle management using tools like ServiceNow / JIRA
• Ensure compliance with DPDP, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS frameworks
• Collaborate with IT, Legal, Risk, and Business teams to prevent data breaches
• Maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans
• Stay updated on AI-related data protection and privacy risks
• Prepare MIS, dashboards, and trend analysis reports
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of data protection, data privacy, and information security
• Hands-on experience with DLP / MIP tools (Microsoft Purview, Forcepoint, Symantec)
• Understanding of Microsoft Information Protection labels, policies, and scanners
• Knowledge of privacy and compliance regulations (DPDP, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS)
• Experience with incident response, ticketing systems, and SLA adherence
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills
  

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to CASB, SWG, Email Security tools
• Experience with cloud platforms M365, AWS, Azure, GCP
• Reporting skills using Excel, Power BI, Tableau
• Scripting knowledge (PowerShell / Python)
• Certifications: Security+, SC-400, SC-900, CISSP, CISM, OEM DLP certifications
