Job Opportunity for Microfocus Architect

Experience: 10+Years

Location: pan India

KEY SKILLS (MUST HAVE): Mainframe COBOL, JCL, DB2, Microfocus (with Microfocus Ecosystem integration experience)

JD:

To have significant hands-on experience in Microfocus ecosystem (Enterprise server, Enterprise Developer, Enterprise Analyzer) and strong past experience in re-platforming from Mainframe to Microfocus
To have knowledge around integrating or setting up products like scheduler, MQ, security etc. in a Microfocus environment
To have prior exposure to different types of modernization projects such as rehosting, re-platforming, refactoring etc.
Must be able to analyse the existing applications/code and propose effective solutions based on the project requirements.
To be strong in fundamentals in Mainframe Technologies – Cobol, DB2, JCL, VSAM
To be able to understand the requirements and develop new code for the project needs.
To be able to identify for opportunities for automation and develop tools for the same.
Soft Skills: Good communication, analytical and presentation skills, problem solving skills and learning attitude.

Secondary skills

Ability to understand Assembler, Easytrieve and document the processing logic involved
Exposure to IMS DB/DC and REXX
Knowledge of cloud environments (preferably AWS)
