Job Summary WN Infotech is looking for an API Test Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will focus on testing and validating APIs to ensure they meet functional and performance requirements. You will work closely with developers to enhance the quality and reliability of our software products. Your Role and Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute automated tests for APIs. Validate API functionality, reliability, performance, and security. Identify, document, and report bugs and issues. Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Create and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases. Ensure API documentation is accurate and up-to-date. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on API testability. Required Technical and Professional Expertise Strong understanding of API testing methodologies and tools (e. g. , Postman, SoapUI, REST Assured). Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e. g. , Python, Java). Experience with automated testing frameworks. Familiarity with RESTful and SOAP web services. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Qualification & Experience Required Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 0 to 5 years of experience in API testing or a similar role. Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Relevant certifications (e. g. , ISTQB, CSTE) are a plus.
