Job Summary WN Infotech is seeking a proficient and detail-oriented Automation Test Engineer to join our innovative team. As an Automation Test Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and performance of our software applications. Your expertise will be crucial in streamlining our testing processes and enhancing the efficiency of our software development lifecycle. Your Role and Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for various software applications. Execute automated tests, analyze results, and report defects to the development team. Collaborate with developers, QA analysts, and product managers to understand requirements and create effective test plans. Enhance existing test automation frameworks and develop new frameworks as needed. Perform code reviews and provide feedback to improve the quality of test scripts. Integrate automated tests into continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Document test cases, test results, and defects accurately and comprehensively. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in test automation technologies and practices. Identify areas for improvement in the testing process and suggest actionable solutions. Required Technical and Professional Expertise Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#. Strong experience with test automation tools and frameworks like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar. Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, or GitLab CI. Understanding of software development and testing methodologies, including Agile and DevOps. Experience with version control systems like Git. Solid knowledge of web technologies, APIs, and databases. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Qualification & Experience Required Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications in test automation or software testing are a plus. 0 to 5 years of experience in automation testing or a related role. Hands-on experience with developing and maintaining test automation frameworks. Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies .
