Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst with a strong background in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance to join our project team. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, utilizing SQL for data analysis and working within an Agile framework. Exposure to core insurance platforms like Guidewire is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Requirement Gathering: Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements and functional specifications for P&C insurance systems.
Data Analysis: Write and execute SQL queries to analyze complex datasets, validate data migrations, and support backend testing.
Agile Collaboration: Participate in all Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives; manage the product backlog and user stories.
Insurance Domain: Apply deep knowledge of the P&C insurance lifecycle (Policy, Billing, and Claims) to ensure solutions meet industry standards.
System Knowledge: Work closely with technical teams on core system enhancements (Guidewire PolicyCenter/ClaimCenter) and integrations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Domain Expertise: Minimum 3 years in P&C Insurance.
Technical Skills: Proficient in SQL (joins, subqueries, data profiling).
Methodology: Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Software Exposure: Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with Guidewire (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter) or similar insurance platforms (Duck Creek, Majesco).
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder management.
