Job Description
- 8+ years of experience playing the role of QA, in an Agile software development env.
- Strong hands-on experience in Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript or Python).
- Experience testing POS systems or retail domain applications.
- Good understanding of retail workflows, including promotions, refunds, tax calculations, etc.
- Familiarity with browser automation, web debugging tools, and DOM structure.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using (Playwright and TypeScript OR Javascript, well versed with Cucumber/Gherkin.
- Experience in API automation, testing RESTful APIs and web services with tools like POSTMAN.
- Ensure the automation framework supports the testing needs of various projects.
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous testing.
- Develop detailed test cases and test plans based on requirements and specifications.
- Perform manual testing when necessary to identify and reproduce defects.
- Identify, document, and track defects in a bug tracking system like Jira.
- Experience working collaboratively with Agile or Kanban development teams.
- Good knowledge of Github and ability to resolve merge conflicts.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, developed interpersonal skills.
- Highly motivated, energetic and able to focus on goals. Ready to challenge and come up with alternative solutions, when addressing problems.
