Role & responsibilities

Engineering Standards:

Continues to learn and remains current on departmental design guides, standards, systems, applicable engineering codes and Black and Veatch policies and procedures
Applies to assigned tasks as appropriate

Quality / Continuous Improvement:

Begins to independently apply knowledge and complies with Black and Veatch quality program relative to assigned tasks
Supports continuous improvement and change management efforts

Engineering Production:

Prepares a variety of moderately complex engineering deliverables
Performs complex research and develops recommendations for equipment and/or materials selection
Collects, assimilates, and manages data for engineering work
Understands and adheres to budget, schedule, and quality requirements
Recognizes, defines and resolves problems within assigned area
May provide direction and guidance to others

Preferred candidate profile

Total years of experience : 10 -20 Years

Experience in Offshore projects is mandatory.
Experience in FLNG projects would be an added advantage.
Experience in design of FPSO/ FLNG topside Modules / Piperacks using SACS software.
Proficiency in carrying out Inplace analysis, transportation analysis, lift analysis, loadout analysis independently without supervision.
Experience in connection design for modular structures is required.
Design experience in fatigue analysis and nonlinear blast analysis is desirable.
Experience in FEM analysis software like FEMap, Ansys is added advantage.
Engineer should be able to support structural MTO and Weight control input.

Education : bachelors degree in civil / Structural engineering. M.tech will be an added advantage.
