About the Role

We are looking for a talented Laravel Developer to join our growing development team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in building scalable web applications using Laravel, along with a solid understanding of PHP, REST APIs, and front-end integration. You will work closely with senior developers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain web applications using Laravel and related technologies.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
• Work with distance-based APIs (e.g., Google Maps) to enable location-based features.
• Integrate and manage payment APIs (e.g., Stripe, PayPal) for secure transactions.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration with Vue.js/React or other frameworks.
• Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Debug and resolve technical issues across development and production environments.
• Work with databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) including schema design and query optimization.
• Stay updated with the latest Laravel and PHP ecosystem trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of professional experience with PHP & Laravel framework.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) and MVC architecture.
• Proficiency in MySQL/PostgreSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with API development and integration.
• Proven experience integrating Google Maps APIs or other distance/location services.
• Proven experience integrating payment APIs such as Stripe, PayPal, or similar.
• Knowledge of Git/GitHub/GitLab version control.
• Understanding of queues, caching, and job scheduling in Laravel.
• Experience with unit testing / PHPUnit is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Docker or containerized applications.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, DigitalOcean, Azure).
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
