Job Summary We are seeking a talented and motivated Full Stack E-Commerce Developer to join our team and help build and maintain a cutting-edge e-commerce platform. This role requires a deep understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies and experience in developing scalable e-commerce solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with our product, design, and marketing teams to deliver an optimal user experience, drive growth, and enhance our online presence. Your Role and Responsibilities Full Stack Development : Develop, test, and deploy scalable and high-performance e-commerce applications using a range of front-end and back-end technologies. Front-End Development : Create responsive, user-friendly interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue. js, or Angular). Back-End Development : Build and maintain secure and efficient server-side applications using Node. js, Python, or PHP and manage APIs for seamless data exchange. Database Management : Design, optimize, and maintain database systems (MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL) to ensure fast and secure data access. Payment Gateway Integration : Implement and maintain secure and user-friendly payment gateways that comply with industry standards. Optimization and Performance : Monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement necessary optimizations for speed and responsiveness. Testing and Debugging : Write unit tests, perform troubleshooting, and fix bugs to ensure code quality and reliability. Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, UI/UX design, and marketing, to deliver seamless e-commerce experiences. Code Reviews and Best Practices : Participate in code reviews, contribute to development best practices, and help mentor junior developers. SEO and Analytics Integration : Implement best practices for on-page SEO, and integrate analytics to monitor user behavior and improve UX. Required Technical and Professional Expertise Languages and Frameworks : Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (React, Vue. js, or Angular), and backend languages such as Node. js, Python, or PHP. Database Management : Strong understanding of database systems (MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL) and experience in schema design and query optimization. E-Commerce Platforms : Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, or WooCommerce, and a strong understanding of e-commerce workflows. Payment Gateways : Familiarity with integrating and securing payment gateways (Stripe, PayPal, etc. ) within an e-commerce setting. Web Security : Knowledge of security best practices, including data protection, SSL, and secure payment processing. API Development and Integration : Experience building and consuming RESTful and GraphQL APIs for data management and third-party integration. Version Control : Proficiency in Git for version control and collaboration. Agile Development : Experience working within Agile or Scrum environments, with a focus on continuous delivery and improvement. Qualification & Experience Required Educational Background : Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Professional Experience : 3+ years of experience in full stack web development, with a focus on e-commerce platforms. Project Management Tools : Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Trello, or Asana for task and project management. Communication Skills : Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear, effective collaboration across departments. Problem-Solving Skills : Proactive approach to troubleshooting, with a track record of solving complex problems in a fast-paced environment.
