Must be able to motivate & manage a team to collectively deliver results. Must be able to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams. Strong creative flair with knowledge of emerging fashion textile & market trends. Adept with research, concept development & overall collection planning. Adept with taking concepts from initial stages till the final design collection, layouts & product application A strong eye for texture, colour, print, pattern, surface ornamentation & fabric manipulation for fashion textiles. Proficient in creating repeats, colour separation of artwork & creating colourways. In-depth technical understanding of fabrics. In-depth understanding of printing & embroidery techniques. Proficiency in design softwares (Adobe Suite) is a must. Strong communication & presentation skills will be a definite plus.
