Job Description

• 1. Inventory Management
  • Maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Monitor stock levels and inform concerned stakeholders as needed.
  • Conduct regular stock audits and reconciliations.
  • Plan/review upcoming stock liquidation with Sales.
• 2. Warehouse Operations
  • Prepare daily, weekly & monthly planning as per work load.
  • Supervise receiving, storing, and dispatching of garments on floor. Check every process for SOP non adherence.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage to prevent damage.
  • Optimize warehouse layout for efficient space utilization.
  • Implement SOPs. Monitor 3 rd party activities.
  • Work on Kaizens, continuous improvement projects to increase efficiency.
  • Daily coordination with internal stakeholders to ensure priorities, smooth execution.
• 3. Team Management
  • Lead and continuously train warehouse staff.
  • Assign tasks and monitor performance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
• 4. Logistics Coordination
  • Coordinate with suppliers and transporters to ensure pickup is done.
  • Track shipments and resolve delays or discrepancies.
  • Manage documentation for inbound and outbound goods.
  • Track & verify transporters invoicing, performance and allocations.
  • Implement TMS in Bangalore.
• 5. Quality Control
  • Inspect garments for defects or inconsistencies.
  • Ensure garments meet company and customer standards.
  • SOP audits on daily, weekly and monthly basis to ensure adherence.
  • Perform random stock audits to prevent any pilferages, discrepancies, or human errors.
• 6. System & Reporting
  • Use warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP software.
  • Generate reports on each daily activities like inventory, GRN, picking, packing, cycle count and performance metrics.
  • Work on the data to track improvement areas and work on the projects.
  • Analyse anomalies of D365 Entries and SAP Updates.
• 7. Compliance & Safety
  • Enforce health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in the warehouse.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
