Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in cloud platforms, automation, and deployment practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure while ensuring smooth CI/CD processes and operational efficiency.

key Responsibilities:

• CI/CD & Automation:
  Develop, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software builds, testing, and deployment
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
  Use tools such as Terraform or Ansible to design, build, and manage cloud infrastructure as code
• Cloud Infrastructure Management:
  Deploy, monitor, and maintain cloud-based production systems with a focus on cost optimization and performance improvement
• Monitoring & Logging:
  Set up and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure application health, availability, and performance
• Security & Compliance:
  Implement and maintain security standards, policies, and best practices to safeguard cloud environments and ensure compliance
• Collaboration:
  Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline release cycles and deployment processes
• Troubleshooting:
  Identify and resolve issues across applications, infrastructure, and deployment pipelines, including performance bottlenecks and failures
• Containerization:
  Implement and manage Docker, Kubernetes, and other container orchestration technologies
• Documentation:
  Prepare and maintain technical documentation for processes, policies, architecture, and configurations

Required Skills

• Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.)
• Hands-on expertise in Terraform, Ansible, or other IaC tools
• Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and container orchestration
• Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch, Datadog)
• Good understanding of networking concepts, load balancers, VPC, security groups, firewalls
• Familiarity with security best practices, IAM, encryption, and compliance frameworks
• Experience in troubleshooting distributed systems and complex deployment issues
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5 - 10 years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering or DevOps roles.
