We re seeking a talented SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) to join our team at a leading global firm. As a key member of our engineering team, you ll play a vital role in safeguarding software quality through innovative automation solutions.

What You ll Do:

Build Robust Automation Frameworks: Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Java, Spring Boot, and Selenium to test web applications effectively.
Automate Testing Across Layers: Craft automated test scripts for various testing types (functional, integration, end-to-end) using Selenium WebDriver and other tools to validate web apps, APIs, and databases.
Master API Testing: Develop automated test suites that rigorously evaluate RESTful API functionality, performance, and security.
Ensure Data Integrity: Perform database testing by writing and executing complex SQL queries, verifying data accuracy and consistency in the application backend.
Create Detailed Test Plans: Craft thorough, well-structured test plans, test cases, and scripts based on business requirements and user stories.
Champion Collaboration: Identify, document, and track bugs in collaboration with development teams. Work proactively to troubleshoot and debug issues.
Bridge the Gap: Collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements, discuss solutions, and enhance test coverage.
Performance Under Pressure: Conduct load and performance testing to ensure the system meets required benchmarks.
Champion Continuous Improvement: Contribute to optimizing testing strategies, processes, and tools within the team to ensure quality and scalability.

What You ll Bring:

4-9 years of experience in QA automation
Expertise in Java programming and Spring Boot framework
Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for UI automation
Proficiency in testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar
Solid experience in database testing with SQL and writing complex queries
Familiarity with test management tools (JIRA, TestRail) for bug tracking and test case management
Experience with version control tools (Git)
Comfort working in an Agile environment with tools like JIRA or Confluence
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to solve complex automation challenges
