Job Description

Job Details: To carry out various design activities pertaining to concept design, design modifications, value engineering, 3D modeling & detailing in the field of Industrial Equipment such as Pumps and Valves, Transportation, Material Handling Equipment, Metal Forming Machines, Special Purpose Machines, Machine Tools among others. Engineers with sound engineering fundamentals and with 4-5 years of relevant experience. Good skills in engineering drawings. Good knowledge about sheet metal, machined and casting components manufacturing process. Very good hands-on experience in using SolidWorks for 3D modeling and detailing. Should have experience in using Design Tables for creating configurations of Parts/ Assemblies. Experience of working in SolidWorks PDM or any other project data management software. Candidates with secondary skills in Inventor and/or Creo will be preferred. Basic understanding about welding procedures and welding selection for sheet metal and structural parts. Knowledge of engineering fundamentals of product design & development process. Knowledge of GD&T, tolerance stack-up. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Qualification desired: B. Tech. (Mechanical Engg.), Diploama in mech Engg Experience desired: Up to 5 yrs.
