Job Description
About Artha Group
Artha Group is a performance-first investment house managing 2300 crores across domestic and international investment vehicles, including Category I II AIFs, LLPs, and Private Limited companies. With active investments in 130+ startups, we operate at the convergence of capital precision and operational depth.

Role Overview
The Content and Community Associate is the single point of ownership for Arthas corporate communication, brand narrative, and digital presence. This is a one-stop function covering public relations, media relations, brand management, crisis communication, and the full scope of digital and social media strategy and execution.

The individual in this seat is expected to operate as a strategic owner, not a coordinator. This includes architecting Arthas communication strategy across every touchpoint, from investor and media-facing narratives to internal alignment and digital campaign execution, and ensuring the firms public identity remains consistent, credible, and well protected at all times, including during sensitive or high-pressure situations.

Every activity under this role, whether executed directly or through a third-party vendor or agency, is expected to be backed by clear, consistent reporting. This role also carries responsibility for training and coaching interns who support the function, and is expected to bring a leadership orientation to that responsibility, not simply task delegation.

This role requires an individual who is operationally strong, methodical in execution, and creative in output. These qualities are treated as equally essential. Strategic thinking without operational discipline, or creative output without process rigour, will not meet the requirements of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Corporate Communication and Brand Ownership:
  • Architect and execute Arthas corporate communication strategy across all stakeholder groups, including investors, media, employees, and the broader market
  • Own brand management end-to-end, ensuring every piece of communication, internal or external, aligns with the firms established narrative and standards
  • Translate business objectives into clear, consistent brand messaging across every channel and touchpoint

Media Relations and Public Relations:
  • Own media relations and public relations in full, building and maintaining direct relationships with media houses, journalists, and industry stakeholders
  • Secure high-value coverage and manage the firms public narrative proactively, rather than reactively
  • Represent the firms communication function in external engagements as required

Crisis Communication:
  • Design and maintain a formal crisis communication protocol, covering identification, response, and containment procedures for reputational risk
  • Act as the first point of coordination during any sensitive or high-pressure situation involving the firms public image, working directly with the COO and CEO as required
  • Ensure the firm is prepared, not reactive, when navigating reputational risk

Content Strategy and Thought Leadership
  • Own content strategy across digital and traditional channels, ensuring consistent output that builds thought leadership for the firm and its leadership team
  • Develop executive storytelling, video content, and long-form thought leadership material in partnership with senior leadership
  • Maintain a structured content calendar and ensure consistent, high-quality output across all formats

Digital, Social, and Integrated Campaigns
  • Own execution of integrated campaigns across LinkedIn, YouTube, email, web, and paid media, ensuring brand messaging is unified across every platform
  • Maintain command over digital platform management, analytics, and performance optimisation, using data to improve reach and engagement continuously
  • Apply working knowledge of AEO, GEO, and AI-driven discovery to ensure the firms content and narrative remain visible and relevant as digital discovery mechanisms evolve
  • Use AI-enabled marketing workflows, including tools such as NotebookLM, Stitch, and similar platforms, as a standard part of content development and campaign execution, not as a supplementary skill

Internal Communication
  • Manage internal communication frameworks to maintain organisational alignment, transparency, and employee engagement across all levels of the firm
  • Ensure internal messaging is always consistent with external brand positioning

Reporting and Performance Tracking
  • Maintain comprehensive, consistent reporting on the performance of every activity under this function, whether executed directly or through an external vendor or agency
  • Report on campaign performance, media coverage, content output, and digital metrics on a defined and regular cadence to the COO and CEO
  • Ensure every vendor or agency engagement is accompanied by clear performance reporting, with output measured against agreed deliverables and timelines
  • Maintain a consolidated view of communication and brand performance that can be reviewed by leadership at any time, without requiring ad hoc compilation

Cross-Functional and Vendor Management
  • Collaborate directly with the CEO, COO, and other department heads to ensure communication strategy is aligned with business priorities
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage external agencies, vendors, and service providers supporting content, PR, and digital execution
  • Maintain full operational ownership of every vendor relationship, ensuring output quality and timelines are met without exception

Intern Management and Coaching
  • Train and coach interns supporting the communication function, ensuring they are developed methodically rather than left to learn informally on the job
  • Set clear expectations, assign structured work, and review output regularly to ensure quality and consistency
  • Bring a leadership orientation to this responsibility, using it as an opportunity to build capability within the function, not simply to delegate lower-priority tasks

Candidate Profile
This role requires an individual who combines strategic judgment with hands-on operational execution. The individual in this seat is expected to:

  • Operate as a one-stop owner across PR, marketing, social, and digital communication, without requiring the function to be broken into separate specialist hires
  • Apply a methodical, process-driven approach to every aspect of the role, from campaign execution to crisis response, with no room for ad hoc handling of the firms public narrative
  • Bring strong creative judgment and the ability to translate complex business ideas into clear, compelling external narratives
  • Exercise sound judgment and composure under pressure, particularly during reputationally sensitive situations
  • Maintain rigorous reporting discipline across all activities, whether self-executed or vendor-managed
  • Demonstrate the ability to train, coach, and lead junior team members or interns, with a genuine orientation toward developing capability, not just assigning tasks
  • Engage directly and credibly with the CEO, COO, and senior leadership, operating with the maturity and discretion the role demands

Required Experience and Skills
  • 10 to 12 years of experience managing corporate communication, brand, or public relations functions, ideally including exposure to complex or high-visibility organisations
  • Demonstrated experience owning media relations independently, with an established network of media and industry contacts
  • Proven experience designing and executing crisis communication protocols in a live, high-pressure environment
  • Strong command over digital and social media strategy, including integrated campaign execution across LinkedIn, YouTube, email, web, and paid media
  • Working knowledge of AEO, GEO, and AI-driven content discovery, and demonstrated experience using AI-enabled marketing workflows, including tools such as NotebookLM and Stitch
  • Strong analytical capability, with the ability to use platform analytics and performance data to guide content and campaign decisions, and to build clear, consistent performance reports
  • Demonstrated experience training, coaching, or mentoring junior team members or interns
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, with strong storytelling ability across formats including executive content and video
  • A postgraduate degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field from a premier institute is an advantage

Compensation Structure
  • 21,00,000 total CTC per annum
  • 18,00,000 fixed, paid annually
  • 3,00,000 annual retention bonus, paid at the end of one year
