Location: Mumbai, Goregaon (E)
Salary: As per industry standards
Working Hours: 9 Hours
Timing: 09:30 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday to Saturday

Role Summary:
Crystal Logistics Cool Chain is expanding its reefer container fleet and needs a procurement specialist who knows the international container market inside out. This role owns the full cycle, identifying container requirements, sourcing from global manufacturers and leasing companies, negotiating contracts, managing vendors, and ensuring containers are delivered on time and to spec. You will work directly with the Operations and SCM teams and be the single point of accountability for everything container-related on the buy side.

Key Responsibilities:
Own end-to-end procurement of reefer containers, new purchases, leased units, and refurbished stock from international sources
Source and qualify vendors: container manufacturers (China, Korea, Europe), leasing companies, and depot operators globally
Negotiate pricing, lease rates, payment terms, and SLAs with international suppliers
Manage the full import cycle coordinate with CHAs, freight forwarders, shipping agents, and port authorities for container delivery into India
Handle all import documentation BL, CI, Packing List, BOE, COO, LC, and DGFT / IEC compliance
Track container orders, shipment ETAs, and port clearances update operations daily
Build and maintain a vendor master rating suppliers on price, quality, lead time, and reliability
Identify cost-saving opportunities through competitive sourcing, volume consolidation, and alternate vendor development
Maintain all procurement records audit-ready at all times

Required Qualifications:
Graduate / B.E. / B.Tech or MBA in Supply Chain, International Business, or equivalent
Knowledge of reefer containers, logistics, or cold chain operations is an advantage.

Experience Requirements:
5 10 years in container procurement, shipping, or international sourcing from the industry
Must have sourced containers internationally knowledge of manufacturers in China (CIMC, Singamas), Korea, or Europe is a strong plus
Hands-on with import documentation BL, BOE, LC, CHA coordination, DGFT compliance
Experience with both SOC (Shipper Owned Containers) and COC (Carrier Owned) leasing models preferred
Strong negotiation skills comfortable dealing with international counterparts across time zones
We are looking for:
Willing to travel to ports, depots, and vendor sites as required
