Relevant Experience 4 -5 years of relevant experience in retail textile and fashion industry. Out of above, 4 + years of leadership role in Apparel quality and fit, with sound knowledge of technical design and pattern making. Will make technical specification sheets as per design team and production team requirement after discussing with designer. Review the technical drawing or ref. image given by designer, analyze and provide measurements with spec of construction with all material details. Drive evolution of Technical Design strategy, operations, methods, and measures of effectiveness. Assess and evaluate fit on mannequins, live models, and 3D avatars. Research and resolve fit, pattern, and grading issues with vendors prior to issuing bulk production approval. Articulate brand standards to all parties, agents and final manufacturers ensuring all garments meet minimum construction standards and hit required manufacturing tolerances. Inputs design Garment Tech Pack Spec sheet for design sampling/ production Sampling coordination Adherence to guidelines Product performance Design : Garment Construction/ manufacturing Establish strategic product development process improvements between Technical Design, Sourcing, and Vendors maximizing efficiencies in support of sourcing activities. Analyze performance metrics to measure efficiency with specific focus towards “Right First Time” (RFT) and “Fit as Expected” (FAE). Ensure given KRAs of RFT and FAE goals. implementation of new technology and tools across the vendor landscape. Anticipates, identifies and drives resolution of technical challenges and interdependencies to prevent downstream problems. Build audit mechanisms to consistently monitor and check fit, both pre and postproduction. Travel to factories to troubleshoot, educate, and build capability. Ability to invent & simplify- product and processes. Ability to think both strategically and tactically with strong attention to detail. Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results. Experience in product, program and/or project management in leading cross-functional teams in developing and implementing new systems and process. Proficient Garment sampling/ manufacturing required by firm. QC Effective production. Creation of efficient production planning. Ability to strengthen the process control to minimize the product failures. Depth knowledge of AQL, Sampling levels, critical, major, minor defects classification and application. Planning and execution skills of Process control tasks like size set review, PPM, In-line, midline and final audits. Demonstrated high levels of self-accountability.
