Role & responsibilities

Part of a team handling GST compliances for Tata Projects Ltd./ its JV entities, review multiple data sources for any exceptions, calculations of eligible and ineligible ITC and filing of returns, filing of refund claims under GST law.
Support the GST annual returns and making sure that accurate reporting is made for all the transactions undertaken by the company during the year.
Support in filing GST refund claims on account of exports and SEZ transactions.
Responsible for submissions in relation to assessment, Audit, notices, and appellate proceedingsin various states and providing support in representation before the tax authorities.
Managing tax accounting in SAP environment, assisting in MIS sent to various stakeholders.
Monitoring tax balances in books of account along with the possible ways to liquidate the tax assets in a timely manner.
Support in closure of statutory and cost audit on periodic basis. This includes liaison with internal teams and appointed auditors.
Advise business on tax queries on need basis.
Adaptive to technological changes understand the various existing tax technology tools and bring in new ideas and design efficient and effective processes to deliver services and identify opportunities for improvement within the tax function

Preferred candidate profile:

CA candidates with 3-5 years of post-qualification experience.
Has had an exposure to handling pan-India/ Multi state taxation.
Knowledge of working in an ERP (SAP) environment.
Solution provider, executioner, and ability to present and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience in Tax automation project as one of the key contributors will be an added advantage
