Job Description - Supply Chain and ERP Manager
Location - Mumbai
Reporting To - Business Head
Role Overview
The Supply Chain & ERP Manager will manage end-to-end jewellery supply chain operations for
Velmora Stores with a strong focus on POS-driven inventory control, ERP compliance, inter
store stock movement, and vendor coordination. The role ensures real-time inventory visibility,
accurate tagging, master and logic creation, smooth store replenishment, and minimal stock
discrepancies across all our locations.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory & POS Management
- Manage POS-based inventory across stores and warehouse including SKU, design,
weight, purity, master details, and tagging.
- Oversee and validate all inward, outward, billing, returns, exchanges, and repair entries
to prevent discrepancies across all our channels.
- Maintain strict control over quality control and tagging to ensure system integrity.
- Monitor daily stock movements, discrepancies, and POS exception reports.
- Ensure correct barcode tagging and reconciliation.
ERP & System Controls
- Own ERP workflows for procurement, stock movement, POS integration, and reporting.
- Ensure real-time sync between POS and ERP across stores.
- Coordinate ERP upgrades, immediate issue resolution, and process automation with
teams.
- Establish POS SOPs and ensure compliance across office functions and store
operations.
Velmora The Fine Jewels
by DVM GandhiVendor & Manufacturing Coordination
- Coordinate with karigars, manufacturers, and vendors for production, repairs, resizing,
and custom orders.
- Track POs, delivery timelines, and GRN entries in ERP/POS.
- Monitor quality checks, purity validation, stone verification and etc.
Loss Prevention & Compliance
- Monitor stock discrepancies, pilferage risks, and shrinkage.
- Support periodic stock audits, surprise checks, and reconciliation exercises.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, documentation, and audit standards.
Reporting & MIS
- Prepare and circulate daily store reports, stock ageing, loss-of-sale, and slow-moving
analysis.
- Share management dashboards for inventory health and supply chain efficiency.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of jewellery retail inventory & POS operations
- Hands-on experience with Jewellery POS / Retail ERP systems
- Knowledge of gold/silver purity, weight management, stones, masters creations and
tagging processes
- Strong analytical and MIS reporting skills
