Job Description

Location: Borivali (East) / Vasai (East)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Draughtsman to support the design and drafting of process equipment and pressure vessels. This role is critical to ensuring precision, compliance with industry standards, and effective coordination between engineering and fabrication teams.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed fabrication drawings for pressure vessels, reactors, heat exchangers, and related process equipment.
Interpret and convert design inputs, P&IDs, GA drawings, and customer specifications into CAD drawings.
Ensure designs comply with ASME, IS, and other applicable standards.
Coordinate with engineering, production, and QA/QC teams to resolve technical discrepancies.
Maintain drawing registers and revision control for all project documentation.
Assist in BOM preparation and estimation support.
Work closely with third-party inspectors and certification bodies when required.

Qualifications & Skills

Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Drafting / Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial equipment drafting (preferably chemical process equipment or pressure vessels).
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software.
Familiarity with ASME Section VIII, TEMA, and related codes.
Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to documentation.
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
