Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Conduct risk-based internal audits across branches, departments, and operational units.
- Review lending processes including loan origination, documentation, disbursement, and collections.
- Evaluate adequacy and effectiveness of internal control systems.
- Ensure compliance with guidelines issued by the Reserve Bank of India applicable to NBFCs.
- Verify adherence to KYC/AML policies under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act.
- Monitor compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements.
- Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting observations, risks, and recommendations.
- Present audit findings to senior management and follow up on corrective actions.
- Track closure of audit observations.
Preferred candidate profile
4-5 years of experience in NBFC audit
