Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Secondary Art Teacher for the IGCSE Board to inspire creativity and critical thinking among students. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in Cambridge IGCSE Art & Design curriculum and passionate about nurturing artistic skills and visual expression.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons as per Cambridge IGCSE Art & Design syllabus
  
• Guide students in developing portfolios and coursework
  
• Prepare students for internal and external assessments
  
• Encourage creativity, experimentation, and originality
  
• Organize exhibitions, art displays, and competitions
  
• Maintain art studios, materials, and safety standards
  
• Assess and document student progress
  
• Participate in academic planning, meetings, and training
  
• Collaborate with other faculty for interdisciplinary projects
  

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong expertise in drawing, painting, mixed media, sculpture, and digital art
  
• Knowledge of IGCSE assessment criteria and moderation process
  
• Ability to mentor students for competitive and international platforms
  
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
  
• Creative, patient, and student-focused teaching approach
  
• Proficiency in digital tools for art and presentations
  

Eligibility Criteria:

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Fine Arts / Visual Arts
  
• Cambridge/IGCSE training or certification is an advantage
  
• Prior experience teaching IGCSE students is preferred
  
• Portfolio submission preferred
