What You ll Be Doing
In a rapidly growing energy market, we seek a Commercial Advisor who can support business goals while managing and balancing risk.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality support across the Win and Deliver work cycle
  • Support bid and project governance, including escalated approvals
  • Review client and supply chain contracts with Legal and Procurement
  • Lead/support contract negotiations
  • Manage a team
  • Develop business cases for new initiatives (e.g., M&A, new markets, digital products)
  • Resolve disputes and claims (project, insurance)
  • Deliver key elements of the Risk and Commercial roadmap
  • Coordinate with Legal, HR, Tax, and Treasury
  • Develop and deliver training (Lunch n Learn, web-based, classroom)
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders
  • Stay informed on market developments
The Person
You ll build strong relationships with internal clients and support the leadership and development of the commercial function. You should be able to work independently and collaboratively, delivering high-quality results. A background in utilities, development, or consultancy is an advantage.
Qualifications
  • Mandatory: Degree in Engineering, Technology, Science, or Business.
  • Desirable: Chartered status in a relevant profession.
